*1 This is an introductory course to meet the boating education needs of
recreational boaters. It includes a wide variety of information. Some of
it is
Satisfies the Kansas Department of Wild Life & Parks State Boating Certificate requirements. This certificate is needed by those born after 1/1/89 who want to operate a boat alone. Many insurance companies will offer discounts on boat insurance to boat owners who successfully complete these courses. Fees apply; call the contact listed with the course for details.
